When it comes to the time to move house, there is one garden-related question that we all have to answer: do I take or leave my shed? Even if it’s clear that you want to keep it, moving your shed can seem like an impossible task – it’s large, full of heavy items and it might not have been moved for years. However, in just four simple steps, you can move your shed easily:

1. Clear Out Shed
If you’ve had your shed for a long time, the chances are it’s filled with tools, parts, bikes, old furniture, and other miscellaneous items you vow you’ll use again. There’s also a chance, then, that you’re overdue a good shed clear out. Thankfully, this is the best time to do it as you need to empty your shed before it can be moved.

2. Dismantle Shed
Now for the even bigger task: dismantling your shed. If your shed is just moving within your garden, you can skip this step as you should be able to move your shed without taking it apart – just make sure you follow expert instructions and take extra care to avoid injuries.
You can dismantle a shed yourself but this can be a time-consuming and strenuous task, so make sure you’re prepared. Make sure you keep your screws safe and separate so you can find them when you’re putting the shed back together.
When in doubt, hire someone experienced to do it. If you have a removals team, contact them in advance and see if they’ll dismantle the shed for you before you move.
3. Hire A Removals Team
