Falconer Removals was established in 1889, making it the longest established removals and storage service in the United Kingdom.
Now in the hands of 5th generation Falconer’s, we are some of the most experienced movers around – and we are proud of the five-star service that we continue to deliver.
We were even prouder to share these accomplishments with Classic & Vintage Commercials magazine – the best-selling magazine dedicated to heavy commercial vehicles.
Classic & Vintage Commercials Feature
Classic & Vintage Commercials came to see our lorries – which sparked much classic interest from their writer. Watching them being loaded into storage, he remarks on the 1993 Mercedes and 1998 S Iveco Ford Cargo’s excellent condition – despite their regular use.
Big Surprises
Their biggest surprise was our ‘two real golden oldies; a 1995 Guy Vixen with Bonalloy bodywork and a Perkins P4 engine and a slightly younger (196) Austin 24 with a 5.1 litre engine.’ Both are described as in beautiful ex-working condition and, as printed in the magazine, as ‘rare and extremely precious.’

We were also excited to share one of our newer lorries, a 2020 plate MAN, which the magazine heralded as ‘very impressive [and] significant [for] a family-owned business.’
Refreshingly Old-School
When it comes to our lorries, our approach is described as ‘refreshingly old-school.’ This is because our lorries are brought new and then used for as long as it is viable and cost-effective – something we pride ourselves on. That being said, the piece finishes on Graham’s nod to the fact that, despite the efficiency of today’s trucks, in his heart ‘he much prefers the older stuff.’
